About the opportunity

As the Assistant Manager, Insights and Marketing Activation, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of the NZMP and Nutiani brands across South and Southeast Asia.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the regional marketing roadmap to increase brand value and generate demand. This role requires a creative, results-oriented individual with strong analytical and project management skills.


Core role accountabilities are:

  • Brand equity enhancement- develop and implement innovative campaigns and events that strengthen our brand positioning and resonate with our customer segments in the region.
  • Be the ‘voice of the customer’ – lead an insights-driven approach to market and customer development. Working closely with market managers and customers to translate compelling insights into new business opportunities.
  • Reseller engagement – Foster a strong network of brand ambassadors by developing and executing a comprehensive reseller activation program. Equip our resellers with the tools and resources they need to generate demand and drive sales.

This role reports into the Insights and Marketing Activation Manager – NZMP S&EA. This role operates as part of the wider APAC, and Global brand and innovation community.


Strategic Direction

  • Actively contribute to the development of the regional marketing plan and customer engagement strategy for S&EA. Identify trends and insights affecting our customers and industry and provide recommendations to optimise engagement.
  • Lead the development of best practices for content strategy and execution on dgtal channels such as whatsapp. Share key findings and learnings with the broader sales and marketing community.
  • Represent the S&EA regon n global content dscusson ensurng that global actvatons are talored to meet local needs and preferences.

Analysis and Insights

  • Be recognized as a subject matter expert for market, consumer, regional and global insights.
  • Play a key role in identifying new business opportunities by leveraging data (be familiar with pulling data Euromonitor, Mintel etc.). Synthesize complex data into actionable insights that address the needs of our business, customers, and consumers, driving demand and growth.

Communication and Executional Excellence

  • Develop and implement a media and communications strategy to enhance our brand reputation externally and internally. Keep abreast of marketing communication trends and innovation.
  • Oversee the ongoing digital channel management and local content creation for digital channels. This includes managing subscriber lists, maintaining content calendars, creating engaging content using design tools (e.g. Photoshop) and performance tracking.
  • Plan and execute customer engagements to stimulate demand such as webcasts, digital trade shows or other customer engagements to increase awareness of our products and solutions and to identify new prospects for growth. Work closely with the global team to leverage existing content.
  • Presentations – support the sales team in developing high quality communications and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Reseller Engagement

  • Foster a strong marketing community among our resellers to empower them as brand ambassadors in their respective markets. Establish regular communication channels and provide ongoing support.
  • Work closely with resellers to provide them with the necessary marketing guidance and tools.
  • Support the successful launch of new products by equipping our resellers with the information and materials they need to effectively promote and sell the products to their customers.

What you’ll bring to the role

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Degree with at least 2-3 years in marketing roles with proven success in project execution in sales/ marketing field.
  • Solid experience across key digital marketing channels, leading and managing marketing databases, email, social media, and developing content strategy.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to work across markets and functions.
  • Proactive in identifying demand generation opportunities; familiarity pullng data from sources such as Euro Monitor and Mintel.
  • Ability to develop and execute communication strategies and tactics including identifying key messages and product value propositions.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting to external stakeholders.
  • A test-and-learn mindset, actively seeking ways to improve performance and achieve better outcomes.
