Position: Manager, Payment Services Providers (PSP) Team , Alternative Dispute Resolution

About FIDReC: FIDReC is an independent and impartial Alternative Dispute Resolution institution, specializing in resolving financial disputes between consumers and financial institutions. As the premier institution in this field, we are expanding and invite suitable candidates to apply for our Case manager position in the PSP team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle and mediate financial disputes primarily related to payment services, working directly with consumers and payment service providers through telephone, email, face-to-face interviews, and mediation conferences.
  • Mediate solutions acceptable to both parties, utilizing extensive knowledge of e-payment services and associated processes. Cases that are not settled may be referred to FIDReC’s Adjudicators.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the Banking industry or Fintech industry (especially in e-payment services) with a comprehensive understanding of product and process knowledge or complaints handling experience will be an advantage.
  • Relevant working experience in general mediation and/or mediation specializing in financial disputes, with a focus on payment services, will be an advantage.
  • Possess a good degree from a recognized tertiary institution, and demonstrate the maturity, aptitude, skills, and experience for mediation and dealing with disputants.
  • Suitable candidates who demonstrate the required competence and commitment may be promoted to supervisory positions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling disputes within the Payment Services/ Banking sector in Singapore.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage disputes and mediate resolutions.
