Global Account Manager

As Global Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing a strong, long-
term partnership with UTEC. You will act as a trusted advisor, focusing on maximizing customer success,
retention, and growth.
You will have a deep understanding of their global business model, strategic priorities, and operational
needs, keeping close contact with key employees across UTEC's regional teams.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Account Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for UTEC, building long-term relationships with stakeholders at various levels across the organisation.
- Customer Success & Satisfaction: Proactively manage and support UTEC to ensure they are achieving maximum value from our products/services, addressing any concerns, and fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive account strategy that align with UTEC's goals, industry trends, and our organizational objectives. Conduct regular business reviews with UTEC to discuss performance, new opportunities, and strategic plans.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within the account.
- Drive revenue growth by aligning product solutions with customer needs and forecast requirements and advocating for additional and new product adoption when beneficial, in turn maximising revenue, ROI and minimising "guaranteed spend deductions".
- Collaboration Across Teams: Partner closely with internal teams, including sales and operations to ensure alignment on account strategy and address customer needs in a timely manner.

- KPIs to assess customer health, uncover opportunities for improvement, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Problem Solving: Serve as a problem solver for UTEC, proactively addressing challenges, ensuring efficient resolution, and escalating as necessary to provide outstanding customer support.
- Market & Industry Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitor offerings to better advise UTEC and stay ahead of industry changes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The role of Global Account Manager is essential for Ashtead Technology to grow our revenue globally
with UTEC by managing and nurturing our preferred supplier relationship with them.
Skills and experience that will be helpful in this role include:
- Technically capable with an in-depth understanding of survey operations
- Strong organisational and project management skills to manage a challenging schedule with a demanding customer
- Plan asset deployments globally, whilst managing schedules which are prone to change
- Ability to analyse data and use insights to drive decision making
