Job Title: Project Coordinator

Reports To: Project Manager / Operation Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Assist project managers in day-to-day project operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, reports, drawings, and project specifications. Ensure all project files are up-to-date and accessible to the team.
  • Schedule Coordination: Develop and update project timelines, track milestones, and ensure project activities are completed on schedule.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Procurement & Material Management: Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion. Monitor inventory and deliveries.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in tracking project expenses and budgets. Identify any potential issues with costs or resource allocation and report to the project manager.
  • Risk Management: Help identify potential risks to project timelines, quality, or budget, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, regulations, and company quality protocols.
  • Post-Project Activities: Assist with project close-out activities, including final documentation, client handover, and post-project evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the electrical engineering or construction industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices; familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in electrical engineering project management or construction coordination.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Obtain Airfield Driving Permit or driving liscence is a plus.
