Roles & Responsibilities

Procurement


•Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase equipment, materials and operation supplies from both local and international vendors.


•Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase supporting services e.g. equipment repair services, freight and bulk shipment services


•Joint administration of bulk purchase of raw material with key management team members from EnGro Corporation Limited


•Evaluate quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required by end users.


•Execute procurement processes from the receipt of PR to placement PO adhered to Procurement policy.


•Perform daily operational (Raw materials, MRO and office related) purchasing needs (such as planning, issuing and following up on delivery and shipment schedules).


•Responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, vendor onboarding process, vendor management, conducting supplier audits, and negotiating contracts and pricing terms.


•Develops and implements strategic procurement plans and policies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Logistics


•Support posting of Purchase orders for closing and Goods receipt (GRN) in a timely manner


•Contract management and coordination of shipment and logistics matters of incoming Raw Materials.


•Joint evaluation with end users and QC on suppliers' performance annually based on quality standards, delivery timeliness and ensure all performance criteria are met according to the organizational requirements.


•Register, maintain and update Approved Vendor List.


•Assist in preparation of ISO external and internal audits.


•Process and renew; insurance (i.e. corporate vehicles, marine insurance), Heavy Vehicle Parking, Sourcing for Dormitory and others as required.


•Maintaining accurate local/overseas purchase records


•Furnish monthly Raw Material purchasing reports.


•Undertake any other ad-hoc procurement duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Degree holder with 3-4 years of experience in purchasing or Diploma holder with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.

· Experience in shipping is preferred but not essential.

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to handle Chinese speaking suppliers.

· Hands-on, good with details and well organized team person.

· Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and commitment towards KPIs.
