Join our esteemed client in the FMCG industry as a Payroll Specialist We are thrilled to present this exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in managing payroll operations. Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing for a diverse workforce of 600 employees within the FMCG sector, handling tasks such as new hires, terminations, OT computation, allowances, deductions, leave, and benefits administration.
  • Prepare and submit income tax clearances (IR21) for work pass holders and manage CPF, IR8A, and government-paid claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain the accuracy of employee data and implement process control enhancements to streamline operations.
  • Generate comprehensive payroll reports and manage brand billing activities efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with government surveys and actively participate in annual audit exercises to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Champion best practices in payroll management to drive efficiency and excellence.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as required to support the team's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in payroll management, with a proven track record of handling at least 200 employees, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Diploma in HRM or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in HR principles.
  • Familiarity with Times Software is advantageous, showcasing your adaptability to diverse systems.
  • Thorough understanding of the Employment Act, CPF regulations, and income tax legislation, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and a numerical aptitude, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, enabling you to analyze data effectively and drive insights.
  • A strong sense of commitment to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
