Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Director, you will play a critical leadership role in managing high-profile global and regional campaigns, driving strategic direction, and fostering strong client relationships. You will be the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of integrated campaigns while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Strategic Oversight

  • Lead and oversee global and regional campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment with client business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, proactively addressing needs, providing strategic counsel, and maintaining strong relationships through regular engagement.
  • Translate business challenges and client needs into actionable plans for cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, media, and production.
  • Partner with Planners to develop and implement highly effective strategic responses that drive brand growth and business impact.
  • Guide clients on digital innovation, emerging trends, and best practices to future-proof their marketing strategies.
  • Operational Excellence & Business Growth
  • Lead problem-solving efforts for high-level account and production challenges, escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary.
  • Oversee financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand services within the Groupe, proactively cross-selling capabilities to drive business growth.
  • Own and lead client presentations, ensuring clear, compelling, and persuasive communication.
  • Monitor campaign performance, ensuring measurement frameworks and reporting provide valuable insights to clients.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Act as a mentor and leader within the agency, fostering collaboration and guiding teams toward strategic and creative excellence.
  • Champion innovation, encouraging teams and clients to explore new, interactive, and digital-first solutions.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and a high standard of representation for the Groupe in all interactions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, ways of working, and overall quality of output.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, digital marketing, or production within a creative advertising agency.
  • Deep expertise in digital strategy, production processes, and emerging media technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and present interactive communication strategies that incorporate the latest trends in digital, social, mobile, experiential, and search marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital performance measurement, including analytics, reporting, and optimization strategies.
  • A track record of leading and inspiring cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution of complex campaigns.
  • Exceptional financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, estimating, and driving agency profitability.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate high-pressure situations with composure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong initiative and follow-through skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours as needed, including attending shoots and post-production sessions.
