Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Grow the Regional's air and ocean freight business/services, in accordance with the sales strategy on a specified tradelane.
  • Continuously monitor the trade lane performance against the budget and development plan
  • Initiate Sales Campaigns in cooperation with partnering Countries
  • Identify areas for business growth and suggest for possible initiatives to drive volume
  • Identify desired customer segments and freight characteristics in order to formulate business strategies
  • Work with Countries on customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals to drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability
  • Perform market intelligence activities, e.g. pricing, market positioning, service development, prospect identification
  • Support air & ocean procurement on the specified tradelane


Requirements

  • Minimum degree in Business Management/ Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales with prior experience in Trade Lane managerial exposure in Freight Forwarding industrie
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; proven ability to work with a diverse team and influence and drive change across functional and business boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly growing and dynamic changing environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
