Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description - OVERVIEW

  • Work closely with the Executive Director on planning and developing strategies and programs to support the various migrant communities.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with govt agencies, local communities, schools and non-profit organisations.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration within ACMI inter-department programmes, external partners and beneficiaries to optimize O&E programme effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To establish a strategy to identify and map out the needs of the beneficiaries.
  • Create and implement annual outreach plan which includes programs, initiatives and on-site events.
  • Work in collaboration with Skills Development, Assistance & Well-bring and Pastoral & Formation where possible to find synergies to build our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes and initiatives with corporate organisations.
  • Build and manage databases of governmental, non-profit organisations, local communities and corporate organisations to explore long-term outreach initiatives.
  • Beneficiary Management System

- Maintain and keep records of beneficiaries sign up for O&E programs in accordance with PDPA.

- Analyse the data for purpose of designing new initiatives as well as research purposes.

- Track success and engagement of the programs from the beneficiaries.

  • Organize, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on existing and new programs/projects with the relevant team and stakeholders.
  • Work with PR & Comms for the purpose of publicity and other promotional materials needed for the events including posting of such events on social media and using other advertising medium, as necessary.
  • O&E budget and expenses.

- Ensuring that costs of programs/projects are within the budget and advise management if such expenses may exceed the budget.

  • Apply change, risk and resource management at all times.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery to both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work on Sundays is a must.
  • Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate as required.
  • Perform any ad-hoc activities as assigned by management.
  • Administrative Duties

- Prepare and collate regular impact reports on Outreach & Engagement activities.

QUALIFICATIONs AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably degree or Diploma Holder in any discipline

EXPERIENCE

  • Passionate about helping the migrant workers and transnational families.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in operations, activities planning and management of volunteers in a charitable organisation.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Good oral, writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders from different social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Good knowledge of IT applications and social media skills.
  • Confident and able to work independently.
  • Able to speak in a migrant's native language is an advantage.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Ability to work on Sundays.
