Neumann Gruppe Asia is the regional office for APAC and is located in Singapore. At NGAS, we coordinate and manage the activities of this region and to support the business activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, guide, and track operative NKG companies in the development of the annual business planning for approval by formulating key targets, commercial & financial objectives, budgets, investment plans, credit facilities, risk limits, projects, and other goals for the business year for the companies in the APAC region.
  • Coordinate visits, meetings, and reporting from operative companies with the Regional Management.
  • Establish a Risk Management system for the APAC region and monitor the exposure.
  • Support the companies in the APAC region on Terminal Market topics and develop strategies for net market positioning to the Regional CEO
  • Constantly exchange information with operative teams supporting them to track and evaluate possible improvements towards "Operational Excellence".
  • Share good practices or attention points among the operative companies respectively guiding colleagues to encourage the necessary continuous performance improvement of the group.
  • Track and adjust (where necessary) targets and limits in the context of commercial and financial requirements to enhance performance throughout the business year monthly differential valuation approvals.
  • Inform and update the Regional Management of any key commercial and financial topics from the operative companies and share essential feedback by the Regional Management back to the operative companies
  • Travel and visit operative companies, trade fairs, customers & suppliers in the region as necessary.
  • Establishment of a good collaboration, cooperation (and coordination) between the operations-management teams of the three regions and beyond to ensure an alignment on overall topics

Your profile

  • Education: University degree in Business Administration, Sustainability Management, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture or Economics similar. Experienced candidates without relevant degree will be considered if there are relevant years of experiences in the various roles in the coffee industry.
  • Background: You possess several years of significant professional experience in coffee industry. Your expertise includes the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, coupled with strong project management skills.
  • Personality: You are analytical, detail-oriented, service-minded, empathetic, and open to working in a multicultural environment.
  • Internationality: You demonstrate strong intercultural skills and fluent English communication skills; Chinese, Bahasa Indonesian, Vietnamese, Korean and German are a plus.
  • MS Office: You have a good command of the MS Office package, especially Excel.
