Job Description:


Dragonfly Bar, a vibrant and exciting new establishment, is seeking both full-time and part-time Floor Staff to join our team. As a Floor Staff member, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to delivering outstanding service.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly as they enter the bar, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Assist customers in selecting beverages and menu items, offering recommendations and answering questions about our offerings.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy in recording customer preferences.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Handle cash and card transactions, processing payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and timely service to customers.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times.
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including setup and cleanup tasks as directed by management.
  • Uphold the bar's reputation for excellence by delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a bar or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
  • Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails and spirits, is desirable but not essential.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
