P-Con Management specializes in providing outsourced site supervisory services, contract staffing, and payroll management to the construction, marine, and oil & gas industries. As we expand our service offerings and geographical reach, we seek a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and enhance our market presence.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in our target industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development within the construction, marine, or oil & gas sectors, with a strong understanding of outsourced workforce solutions, regulatory compliance, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Market Expansion
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand P-Con's services in construction, marine, and oil & gas industries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, tenders, and strategic collaborations.
  • Conduct market research to assess industry trends, competition, and client needs to inform business strategies.
  • Explore geographical expansion opportunities and new service offerings aligned with P-Con's core competencies.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, project managers, and procurement teams in target industries.
  • Conduct cold calls, meetings, and presentations to introduce P-Con's services and value proposition to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring contracts align with company profitability and compliance standards.
  • Provide excellent after-sales service and maintain long-term partnerships with clients.
3. ESG Compliance & Value-Added Services
  • Promote ESG-aligned services, including sustainable workforce solutions, compliance consulting, and safety supervision.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of outsourcing workforce management to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure all business development activities align with regulatory and industry standards, mitigating risks for clients.
4. Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by driving new client acquisitions and increasing service adoption among existing clients.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably in the construction, marine, or oil & gas industries.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, contract staffing, and outsourced workforce solutions.
  • Understanding of ESG principles and their impact on workforce solutions and industry compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
