Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day cleaning operations for our facilities. This role involves ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standard, managing cleaning teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Cleaning Operations Manager will also work closely with other departments to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead, supervise, and train the cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations. Ensure that team members are properly equipped and prepared to perform their duties.
  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are regularly and thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Monitor staffing levels to meet operational demands.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards. Address any deficiencies or issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that cleaning operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Order supplies as needed and ensure the team has the necessary tools to perform their work.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage the cleaning department's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce expenses without compromising on cleanliness standards.
  • Customer Service: Address concerns or feedback from building occupants or clients regarding cleanliness and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventories, and inspection reports. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of cleaning operations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party cleaning vendors and contractors, ensuring they meet performance standards and comply with contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • years of experience in cleaning or facilities management, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to cleaning and facilities management.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
