Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all pharmacy items are procured according to established ALPS/PHI policies.
  • Maintain departmental reports and records and collect statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes.
  • Establish and compile various sources of supply.
  • Recommends standardization of products when opportunity arises.
  • Collate requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Prepare ITQs / Tenders / RFPs as guided.
  • Conduct sourcing events such as ITQs and RFPs/Tenders
  • Collate and tabulate all offers and facilitate evaluation and seek for approval before the purchase.
  • Able to communicate with vendor effectively and undergo negotiation.


Requirements

  • Prior experience in purchasing role
  • Knowledge of procurement cycle is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft office excel
  • Experience in SAP/WMS I will be an added advantage.
  • Good team player and able to meet deadline
  • Meticulous and good communication skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Fast learner and adaptable
