The Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition (Faculty), will bepart of the University's HR team supporting the recruitment offaculty members. This position focuses on providing comprehensivesupport for faculty searches across various Colleges, ensuring thatthe University meets its faculty hiring goals in a timely andefficient manner

Manage Faculty SearchProcess
  • Partner with theDean, Chair, School Search Committee (SSC) and HR Business Partnersin managing all aspects of facultyrecruitment
  • Plan, monitor, and track the statusof each assigned faculty search to ensure service level agreementis met


InitiateFaculty Search
  • Draft andseek inputs from School Search Committee (SSC) on SearchAnnouncement/ Job Advertisement and seek approval fromDean/Chair
  • Advertise job on internal andexternal channels based on inputs fromSSC
  • Partner with the SSC to plan the timelineof the key activities of the facultysearches.


FacilitateCandidate Shortlisting andEvaluation
  • Request andmanage references for shortlistedcandidates
  • Maintain comprehensive records ofSSC evaluations for each applicant
  • Arrangecampus visits and interviews for shortlistedcandidates


Approvaland SelectionProcess
  • Prepare and compiledossier documents required for seeking approval on the appointmentof the selected faculty candidate.
  • Facilitatesubmission of SSC reports, Chair's reports and Dean's reports tothe University panel forapproval.


KeyRequirements
  • Bachelor'sdegree in any discipline
  • Proven experience inhandling administrative tasks, including document management, dataaccuracy checks, report writing.
  • Strong writtenand verbal communication skills
  • Excellentplanning and organizationalabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Officeapplications
  • Detail-oriented, with a strongfocus on teamwork and a service-orientedapproach
