Roles & Responsibilities

As a vital member of the team, the Business Development Executive collaborates closely with internal laboratory and hedging teams to propel business expansion. Key duties include pinpointing new business prospects, nurturing client connections, and contributing strategic endeavours to enhance organization’s overall prosperity.


Key Accountabilities

· Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market trends.

· Analyse competitor activity and industry developments to inform business strategies.

· Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities for business growth.

· Acquire precious metals including catalytic converters, Gold & Silver within Singapore & other countries, and evaluate purchasing decisions with a focus on cost efficiency to ensure that all business transactions are profitable for the company.

· Utilise handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology to analyse Platinum Group Metals in catalytic converters as a preliminary gauge for procurement.

· Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

· Conduct negotiation for improved terms with prospective and existing clients.

· Track and report on sales performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.


Educational & Professional Qualifications

· Minimum Diploma & above

· Possess Class 3 driving license.

· Knowledge of using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.

· Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal) to ensure seamless communication with our Chinese stakeholders.


Relevant Experience

· Minimum 3 years of experience with similar capacity in recycling or adjacent industries preferred.
