We are seeking an experienced Bioinformatics Scientist tosupport new diagnostics product development and support dataanalytics in software development for Software as a MedicalDevices. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving thesuccessful execution of diagnostic products in collaboration withexternal partners. The ideal candidate should possess a strongbackground in bioinformatics and knowledge of biostatistics ishighly preferred.

JobResponsibilities:
  • Design, development and deployment of latestbioinformatics analysis pipelines for IVD development.
  • Design, development and deployment of Bioinformaticspipelines in multi-omics data such as NGS processing, analysis, andreporting for IVD product development
  • ProvideBioinformatics analysis support for diagnostics assay productdevelopment.
  • Provide Biostatistics analysissupport for clinical study of diagnostics productdevelopment.

JobRequirements:
  • PhD orDegree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a relatedfield, with a strong emphasis on data analytics and machinelearning in biological contexts. 1- 2 years of experience orequivalent in industry settings.
  • Proficient inworking language with Python, R/Matlab. Good knowledge ofbioinformatics workflow languages such as Nextflow, Snakemake andCommon Workflow Language (CWL).
  • Experiencewith biostatistical analysis and AI machine learning for biomarkeridentification and predictive model development.
  • Experience with Biopython, Bioconductor, Linux andcloud-based deployment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of statistical software such as Minitab, R,SAS/STAT and SPSS, etc. is a plus.
  • Experiencewith IVD (compliance, validation) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, withexperience working independently and in multi-disciplinaryteams.
