Fintech Business Development Manager- Global Fintech Company- Singapore;

A leading MNC payments company is currently on the lookout for a standout Sales Director with a specialty in the fintech sector to oversee its sales department as they look to grow in APAC.
Having a key role in a globally recognised and trusted company, you will be given the opportunity to work with various giants in the industry, putting you in the forefront of the ever-expanding company. As the leading player in the development department, you will have a direct impact on the company's progress, and you will be able to see the visible impact you have on the company. As such, you will be offered an attractive remuneration of up to SGD 200,000 per annum.
Your responsibilities include:
- Obtain new businesses from a defined list of strategic target clients and a list of existing merchant accounts
- Have a deep understanding of merchant challenges related to growth, expansion and execution in local and international markets to be able to perform a gap analysis
- Work cross-functionally with the company's internal team to empower and support decision-making. Collaborate with subject matter stakeholders to ideate craft and implement targeted solution to address merchant feedback
- Connect local business development teams to local client contacts and understand regional and headquarters needs
- Ensure high visibility for the company across the payment industry in APAC
- Procure targeted sales offer and procurement documents
Knowledge & Experience required:
- At least 5 years of direct sales experience, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, with the ability to manage ambiguity and embrace change.
- Willingness to dive into the details and tackle day-to-day tasks, demonstrating a hands-on approach to getting things done – no task is too small.
- A self-motivated individual who listens attentively to clients, developing a customer-centric approach that addresses their unique needs. You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and pay careful attention to understanding your client's business, stakeholders, and market dynamics.
- A strong ability to uncover and understand client needs, even when those needs may not be immediately apparent, especially in markets with significant growth potential where customers may lack deep industry experience.
