You will support the Director, Research and Deputy CEO (Research & Education). You will have management oversight and accountability for the Department’s administration, operations, technology and innovation support, strategic research initiatives, conferences, meetings and all research-related activities.

You will lead, direct and drive organization-wide strategies to achieve organizational efficiency, promote a culture of excellence through enhanced processes, nurture a safe, inclusive and conducive research environment and facilitate partnerships with local and international collaborators and industry partners. You will promote professional ethics and work integrity among the research team.

You will oversee administrative, operations, events-related, technology and innovation support activities within and across relevant departments to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will support the Academic Chair to oversee the academic initiatives under the Oral Health Academic Clinical Program (ORH ACP) and the research initiatives under the National Dental Research Institute of Singapore (NDRIS). This includes the academic and research strategic planning and implementation of the ORH ACP’s and NDRIS academic and research masterplans and strategic initiatives; formulating and reviewing academic and research policies and procedures, leading research communication efforts in raising the profile of the research community locally and internationally and driving translational and innovation research efforts.


Requirements:

· PhD/ Masters in Science or other related field with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in research and academic administration

· At least 6 years of supervisory experience will be preferred

· Able to work independently, lead a team and function well in a team-based setting

· Possess good leadership, interpersonal skills, presentation deck development, communication, organizational capabilities, time-management, analytical and writing skills

· Highly motivated with strong ability to drive initiatives
