Roles & Responsibilities

The Sports Administrator is a key part of the Galaxy Gymnastics team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the gym. They will provide essential administrative support, assist with customer relations, handle billing and finance responsibilities, coordinate class schedules, help with event planning, and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Additionally, the administrator will play an active role in promoting the gym's services, events, and programs to attract new students and retain existing ones. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, has strong communication skills, and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relations: Guide students and parents, manage inquiries, and ensure a positive front-desk experience. Send timely notices and reminders, fostering positive community engagement.
  • Class Coordination: Manage class schedules, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide basic first-aid when needed.
  • Admin Support: Handle student enrollment, attendance tracking, and maintain accurate records. Ensure customer feedback is monitored and addressed.
  • Finance and Billing: Oversee POS transactions, invoicing, and billing inquiries. Track payments and assist with financial reporting.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize and support events such as competitions, workshops, and internal showcases.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with coaches and staff, assist with professional development, and ensure smooth class operations.
  • Marketing and Sales: Promote programs via social media, create marketing materials, and support sales initiatives, including promotional events and campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or administration (sports/fitness setting preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; CRM and POS experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of financial systems and billing processes.
  • First-aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Marketing and promotions experience is a plus.
