Our client, a leading European Manufacturer in the Maritime industry seeking for a ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER to join them.Job

Requirements:

  • Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or related.
    Minimum 8 years of experience in the Maritime industry, with a strong focus on safety products, equipment, and services.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.
  • Experience in overseeing and driving the P&L of a business unit.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the Maritime sector.
  • Experience in managing office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions across Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Ability to optimize processes and improve efficiency in operations, logistics, and customer service.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and partners.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, cost control, and revenue forecasting.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to oversee regional operations.
