Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage strategic financial planning for the group, including forecasts and budgets; conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement; expenses, and provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic planning
  • Financial Reporting: Focus on daily and month-end accounting to determine results, prepare and present full set of financial reports, including profit and loss
  • statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a consolidated basis; ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies; coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely completion
  • Treasury Management - Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance. Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements, manage working capital, and optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with various stakeholders across the organisation to ensure finance processes are running efficiently. Managing various financial topics and providing ad-hoc support to the finance and new business teams

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA/CPA
  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax and GST rules
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
