Role Overview
The Presales Consultant Managed Services is a sales focused services specialist who creates client intimacy through technical expertise and industry based Managed Services and Outsourcing knowledge. They interact with International clients and apply an advanced level of service and market understanding to provide solutions of a high complexity.
The primary objective of the Presales Consultant Managed Services is to position Managed Services solutions within FPT's existing and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with International and/or global clients and apply an advanced level of service and market understanding to provide solutions of a high complexity.
- Position Managed Service Solutions within FPT's existing and prospective clients.
- Lead in scope of work determination, services pricing models and analysis of RFP/RFI's.
- Analyse, understand and document client service requirements and map the required services to existing standard operational services to create a Managed Services solution for the client using approved cost models.
- Work with the pursuit/sales team to define a roadmap and milestones for client engagement, including the transition planning and service delivery team involvement.
- Remain focused on understanding client's requirements and then working with the regional sales, solution, transition and service delivery teams to create proposals and services solutions that leverage FPT's footprint.
- Promote best practice and knowledge management and develop a profile as a technical leader in the FPT Managed Services solution area.
- Involved in developing new products and services by working with clients to understand their requirements and with the various Lines of Business (LOB's), product development and delivery teams to consolidate solution into proposals and of statements of work.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in services within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment across a range of services
- Experience in the creation of complex / outsourced service architectures tailored to the unique requirements of the client and that deliver measurable business value
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Services and service delivery environment including technical and service management exposure
- Strong background in automation, AIOps, observability, monitoring, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Track record of effective project management
- A broad understanding of the vast range of IT operations
- Demonstrated experience working with cost modelling
