Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Executive to lead and manage HR operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role involves handling core HR responsibilities, including payroll processing via Infotech software, work pass management (Work Permit, S Pass, Employment Pass), staff reimbursements, visa applications, and IR8A tax filing using Xero. The role also includes driving employee engagement initiatives such as annual company trips and monthly birthday celebrations.

Experience in the construction industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Lead recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent, manage onboarding, and drive retention efforts.
  • Work Pass Management:Handle applications, renewals, cancellations, and other processes for Work Permits, S Passes, and Employment Passes.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and company policies.
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll using Infotech HR software, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, allowances, and bonuses.
  • Staff Reimbursements: Oversee and manage the reimbursement process, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursements for employee expenses.
  • Visa Applications: Handle applications and processing of travel visas for employees traveling for business or other official purposes.
  • IR8A Filing and Tax Compliance: Prepare and file IR8A forms and other tax-related documents using Xero, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing workplace concerns and promoting a harmonious work environment.
  • HR Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies that align with company goals and adhere to local labor laws.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and organize development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives:Plan and execute annual company trips and team-building activities.
    Coordinate monthly birthday celebrations and festive events to enhance employee morale and camaraderie.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Event Workforce Management: Develop HR strategies for managing freelance and contract staff for event execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including work pass management, tax filing, and reimbursements.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems, with hands-on experience in Infotech HR software and Xero for accounting and tax filing.
  • Strong knowledge of MOM regulations and work pass processes (Work Permits, S Pass, Employment Pass).
  • Experience in preparing and filing IR8A forms and other statutory tax documents.
  • Experience in planning and executing employee engagement programs, including large-scale events like annual company trips.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific HR requirements; experience in the construction industry is a strong plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
