As a Senior Account Manager, you will take the lead in managing client accounts at both strategic and executional levels. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders and deeply understanding their business needs. Internally, you will oversee and mentor account teams to deliver high-quality PR campaigns while supporting the Account Director in strategic planning and client counsel.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive counsel and ensuring seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and reporting, demonstrating strategic thinking and strong communication skills.
  • Oversee and guide the team in implementing effective earned and paid PR strategies, ensuring campaigns meet objectives while managing timelines and budgets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media and influencers, acting as the go-to expert for media strategy within the team.
  • Drive media pitching efforts, securing high-impact coverage and leading responses to media inquiries.
  • Review and approve all external communications, including press releases, pitch notes, influencer content, and reports, ensuring a high standard of quality.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, media landscape shifts, and evolving social media and influencer dynamics to inform client strategies.
  • Manage account financials, including contracts, purchase orders, job creation, and billing.
  • Support the Account Director in strategic planning, taking ownership of executional roadmaps and contributing to high-level decision-making.
  • Oversee and coordinate regional market teams and partners, ensuring alignment and smooth execution across markets.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on client management, campaign execution, and career growth.

This role requires a proactive leader with a strong strategic mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to drive impactful results for clients.

Special requirements:

  • 6+ years of agency experience with a strong focus on consumer and integrated communications.
  • Proven expertise in PR strategy and execution, with a track record of securing high-impact earned media coverage and managing paid media/influencer campaigns.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communications strategies.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple fast-paced projects, tight deadlines, and cross-functional coordination.
