Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic sales individual to fill a newly established role focused on expanding the business into the marine sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan targeting the marine market to achieve sales goals and profitability.
  • Lead sales activities, ensuring clear responsibilities and accountability within the team.
  • Design and execute effective action plans to identify and pursue new sales leads and prospects.
  • Regularly provide performance feedback to the Head of Sales.
  • Deliver accurate and competitive pricing for potential clients, aiming to maximize profit margins.
  • Manage expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Actively pursue sales opportunities with Ship Managers and Owners, prepare and follow up on quotations, handle customer purchase orders, and undertake additional assigned duties.
  • Coordinate with Service Managers or Coordinators to facilitate communication between customers and internal engineers for project and service-related work.
  • Report on sales quotations and targets to the Head of Sales every two weeks.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales within the marine electronic equipment industry.
  • Preferable knowledge of marine products.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and expand business in the marine sector.
  • Highly proactive and results-oriented individual.
