[What the role is]

The systems & statistics executive is expected to manage academic systems. He/she will perform data extraction and analysis to facilitate decision making by stakeholders and participate in digitalisation projects to enhance service delivery.

[What you will be working on]

  • Administration of the Student Information Management System as business owners, including access rights, change requests and system reviews.

  • Project manage the Skills Training & Enhancement Portal as business owners, and update academic-related content.

  • Lead/Support data analytics projects to provide actionable insights on student performance, to facilitate effective decision making by internal/external stakeholders.

  • Develop dashboards to support data analysis and to support data extraction for internal/external agencies.

  • Participate in Data Analytics and Academic Research Projects.

  • Enhance service delivery through digitalisation and adoption of digital enablers.

  • Any other projects and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics/Data Analytics or relevant disciplines, with at least 1 year of working experience in programming or data analytics

  • Ability to develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets (Pivot tables required) and leverage other tools for creating reports and dashboards

  • Working knowledge in data analysis and analytics software such as Power BI will be an added advantage.

  • Analytical and have an eye for detail

  • Good administrative and organisational ability

  • A team player, driven and possesses a strong customer service mindset
