We are looking for a passionate and professional Studio Operations Officer to join our Broadcasting team.


Based in Singapore and reporting to the Manager, the incumbent will support and handle Broadcast Operations.

What You'll Do

  • You will support the Broadcast Operations in bringing in live overseas horse racing events from countries that are offered by SPPL to customers.
  • You will handle the Broadcast Operations to provide live transmission of overseas horse racing events for operations at our BCC, retail and remote customers to watch and bet on the races that are taking place in different parts of the world in real-time.
  • You will set up, prepare and update all graphics information required in ‘Live’ broadcast operations, operate studio equipment including CG, Profile, VT Deck, Vision Mixer and Sound Mixer for program productions, prepare program and line-ups.
  • You will ensure proper and regular maintenance of the CGs, Server, Profile and Avid/ FCP including housekeeping, troubleshooting, uploading of footages/graphics, new graphics.
  • You will load/retrieve/transfer race footages for other departments in compliance with approved requests and archive all programs as per SOPs in library and Server system.
  • You will conceptualize and create motion graphics using Viz Artist system and 3D models using Adobe After Effects,3D Studio Max/ Cinema 4D programs, design and create artwork used for TV Broadcast, Post-Production, DVD covers, posters and other print materials using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator programs, edit TV programs, conceptualise and ensure creativity in editing of on-air promotions and trailers.
  • You will be responsible for the technical setup of all editing related facilities, knowledge of latest technology for edit suites or studio, proposal for upgrading.
  • You will provide support in systems testing as and when required, support in pre/post production works in the daily broadcast operations and broadcast duties, support (layover graphics, pre-post production in live/delayed streaming) during live lottery draws.
  • You will monitor incoming, outgoing broadcasting signals for quality and continuity of processes and perform ingest for all types of media assets during live and pre-recorded productions while ensuring all content meets SPPL’s standards for video and audio quality.
  • You will perform collating, caching, transferring and managing media required by Playout and production partners.
  • You will be in charge of routing and switching of feeds, audio Shuffling/mixing and measuring audio and video signals to ensure quality control of SPPL endorsed standards on all operations using comprehensive knowledge of broadcast methods.


Who You Are

  • You will need at least a Diploma in Film, Sound and Video/ Graphic Design/ IT or Film Production.
  • You will need at least 2 years of relevant working experience in Live Television Production or related industry.
  • You will need knowledge in and experience using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Cinema 4D, FCP and Avid.
  • Knowledge of horse racing, sports and/or lottery industry will be an advantage.
  • You should have good interpersonal skills and administrative skills.
  • You should be meticulous, with keen eye for details.
  • You should have strong project management.
  • You should be a good team player with a positive attitude.
  • You should be able to work rotating shift hours, including weekends and PH, to provide 24/7 support.
