Applications Manager, Global IT


As an Applications Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing the products/Applications in a global MNC. You will oversee product planning, prioritize requirements, ensure quality, define release strategies, and collaborate with various teams to create exceptional products. Your leadership will guide the product lifecycle from inception to launch.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects to align with product objectives and work with business units to define requirements and scope.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and technical teams to implement solutions.
  • Coordinate activities across different locations to ensure smooth communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external IT resources to ensure project success.
  • Ensure data and system requirements are accurate and complete, meeting project goals.
  • Act as the final escalation point and subject matter expert on the application and its processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about product strategy, relevance, and quality.
  • Provide regular updates on project deliverables.
  • Support cross-functional training and act as a subject matter expert.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of IT experience in requirements gathering, design architecture, development, testing, and deployment in a multinational enterprise.
  • Experience with collaboration tools and understanding of integration patterns, data types, and messaging systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity in working with CRM/sales/marketing related systems in a global or regional environment.
  • Certifications in Project Management and IT Service Management are advantageous.
  • Strong skills in business processes, analytics, problem-solving, and cybersecurity in product management.
  • Ability to manage multiple products and teams, prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to present to business audiences.
