About the role

As an application manager, you will be responsible for the design, development, solutioning and BAU management of applications assigned to you.


You will be part of a dynamic IT Development Team to develop new systems and enhance financial backend applications for our fast-growing businesses in the region.


Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, perform impact analysis, design and develop solutions.
  • Analyze defects, enhance, tune and maintain existing applications.
  • Liaise with exchange, vendors and inhouse developers for new initiatives, enhancements and BAU matters.
  • Lead the projects, provide status updates on the progress and actively involved in UAT.
  • Participate as the subject matter expert for projects involving BAU applications.
  • Support the front end and/or back office applications.
  • Play an active role when incidents occur.
  • Ensure that tasks and initiatives are properly documented and up-to-date.
  • In charge of tech refresh.


Job Requirements


To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have/be:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computing Science/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant IT project management and support.
  • Good experience on network.
  • Moderate understanding on MS-SQL and/or Oracle queries.
  • Experience in Linux and cloud hosting solution is an advantage.
  • Domain knowledge of Securities and/or Derivatives broking is a must.
  • Ability to work as a team player as well as an independent performer, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Resourceful, able to work under pressure and possess a good knowledge of current technology.
