As part of the Human Resources team, your role is essential in enhancing and leading employee engagement and staff well-being initiatives. You will provide guidance to your team and work closely with senior management.
This position requires a passionate leader who is proactive, innovative and people-centric who is passionate about enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive work culture.
[What you will be working on]
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Conduct Employee Engagement Survey and regular pulse checks to gather feedback from employees and use the data to drive improvements in our workplace experience and culture.

Undertake regular reviews to understand and identify the needs, experiences and expectations of our diverse workforce and design and execute programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing our employee engagement and satisfaction

Organise organisation-wide events and activities e.g. management-staff engagement sessions, staff engagement & appreciation events to strengthen employee engagement and promote a sense of community, appreciation and recognition in the workplace. You will be required to work with vendors and administer the related procurement requirements.

Develop innovative approaches to adapt to the changing landscape of work, including hybrid work and new technologies.

Oversee benefits administration and the review of policies such as leave, medical scheme, WICA insurance and staff-related awards.
[What we are looking for]

Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management or related fields
-
At least 8 years of relevant work experience, with familiarity in employee employment, staff well-being and various HR functions and with at least four years in a leadership role

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to collaborate to provide value-added HR services
-
A team player who is independent, resilient, resourceful with proven track record of building strong relationship with stakeholders at all levels and driving change
-
A people manager who is strong in coaching and developing teams.

Proficient and with a strong data-driven mindset with the ability to gather insights, analyse employee feedback and HR metrics to drive improvements in employee engagement and work culture initiatives

Some experience with Workday HR System, Robotics Process Automation, Chatbots and Macro programming will be advantageous
