The Cluster Assistant Accountant assists the Cluster Accountant in the supervision of the Hotel finance office, pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end closing reports and general ledger reconciliation.

What will I be doing?

As the Cluster Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Direct staff in follow-up of accounts.
Assist with month-end closing process as directed. Mainly focus on Accounts Payable, Cost Control and General Ledger function.
Ensure all reports are submitted promptly such as weekly bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and etc.
Conducts and track Hotel Outlet's beverage inventories on monthly basis.
Prepare weekly and monthly food & beverage reports.
Work with Cluster Accountant and assist in the supervision of Hotel Finance Accounts Payable teams, assigning tasks and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy.
Assisting on quarterly GST submission.
Handle special project assignments as requested by the Cluster Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
RequirementsWhat are we looking for?

A Cluster Assistant Accountant serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
Good organizational skills, attention to details and good interpersonal skills.
Flexible with working hours and able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
Proficient in English to meet business needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
