Key Responsibilities:- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for structured finance transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance, and structured lending.
- Lead the structuring and negotiation of complex financing solutions tailored to meet the needs of clients and investors.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk analysis to assess the viability and creditworthiness of potential transactions.
- Perform thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for structured finance transactions, including financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing.
- Develop and present credit proposals to internal credit committees, highlighting key risks, mitigants, and recommended risk ratings.
- Monitor the ongoing performance and credit quality of structured finance portfolios, taking proactive measures to address potential risks and issues.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in the structured finance industry.
- Conduct market research and due diligence on target sectors and industries to identify potential investment opportunities and emerging risks.
- Leverage industry knowledge and expertise to develop innovative financing structures and solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients and investors.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a proven track record of originating and executing complex transactions within infrastructure, new energies and renewables.
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, credit analysis, and structuring of debt and equity financing solutions.
- Excellent understanding of capital markets, financing techniques, and legal documentation related to structured finance transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
- Team player with strong leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
