Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):


Key responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to, the management of design, budget, schedules, quality and personnel, as Client’s integrated project execution team for a Land Transport Authority (LTA) project.


Other responsibilities:


  • To perform day-today management of an LTA construction project;
  • To oversee site quality and safety issues;
  • To determine any non-conformances on works;
  • To liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly;
  • To ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe;
  • To ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety;
  • To manage quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site;
  • To supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation;
  • To lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site
  • To assist in the operating of the PMCC
  • Other duties as and when assigned


Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)


  • Minimum Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering / Construction Management
  • For Senior Engineers at least 5 years' relevant experience in a project / construction environment including but not limited to transport / tunnelling / underground structures.
  • For Project Engineers at least 2 years’ relevant experience. Fresh graduates can be considered on case-by-case basis.
  • Previous experience of working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects in Singapore will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in relevant software programmes for planning and project work is advantageous.
  • Experience in C&S, geotechnical tunnel or viaduct design will also be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership qualities with good analytical and communication skills
