Join our team at Group Technology and Operations (T&O) where we focus on ensuring the bank's infrastructure is efficient, nimble, and resilient. We prioritize productivity, quality, technology, and innovation to support our business partners through various banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a professional to oversee operational risk compliance and awareness for group IBGO across all locations. Your main focus will be on maintaining oversight on key deliverables related to operational risk metrics and forum activities that impact IBGO.

Responsibilities

  • Represent IBGO at risk forums and communicate risk initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Provide regional oversight of Gen AI Guardrails as UORM for IBGO.
  • Oversee and monitor AML/CFT initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Lead project rollouts for the EWSS Actimize, ARM, and SSW systems as the system owner for ARM SSW.
  • Identify and manage emerging risks for IBGO, focusing on key areas such as Audit & Unit Self-identified issues, UDMA, MJE reductions, and GLAO certification.
  • Conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Testing using the PURE framework.
  • Prepare forum materials, review and report risk metrics for IBGO management.
  • Perform review of risk landscapes, identify control lapses, and standardize best control practices.
  • Provide risk & control advisory to line managers and location risk managers.
  • Manage regional risk & control projects globally for IBGO.
  • Lead the IBGO Risk Forum to communicate key risk initiatives effectively.
  • Review regulatory submissions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct staff trainings on risk & control awareness.
  • Utilize data analytics to enhance the risk management framework.

Requirements

  • University degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience in financial institutions in a risk and control capacity.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in operational risk management and understanding of banking regulations.
  • Ability to analyze details while maintaining focus on the bigger picture.
  • Knowledge of banking policies, processes, controls, and systems.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and organized with good time management.
  • Experience in Team Management is preferred.
