Group Technology and Operations (T&O) empowers the bank with an efficient infrastructure focusing on productivity, quality, technology, people capability, and innovation.

Job Purpose

Responsible for operational risk compliance and awareness for group IBGO across all locations. Drive and maintain oversight on key deliverables and timelines in operational risk metrics and forum deliverables impacting IBGO.

Responsibilities
  • Represent IBGO at risk forums and explain risk initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Regional oversight of Gen AI Guardrails as UORM for IBGO.
  • Oversight and monitoring of AML/CFT initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Lead project rollouts of ARM SSW systems as system owner for ARM SSW.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and manage emerging risks for IBGO.
  • Oversee Risk and Control Self-Assessment Testing on the PURE framework.
  • Prepare forum materials for IBGO management, review and report risk metrics.
  • Perform review of risk landscapes, identify control lapses, and highlight adverse trends for action across locations.
  • Provide risk & control advisory to line managers on control lapses and root cause analysis.
  • Manage regional risk & control projects for IBGO globally.
  • Lead the IBGO Risk Forum to communicate key risk initiatives effectively.
  • Perform regulatory submission reviews and assessments with data accuracy.
  • Raise staff awareness on risk & control and provide required trainings.
  • Leverage data analytics to enhance the risk management framework.
Requirements
  • University degree with minimum 15 years of experience working in financial institutions in a risk and control capacity.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to navigate ambiguous situations and has hands-on experience in operational risk management.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment in banking and ability to deep dive into details.
  • Knowledge of banking, policies, processes, controls, and systems as well as good presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter, collaborative, organized, with time management skills and a positive attitude.
  • Team Management experience preferred.
