Our Client is a top Global MNC searching for an individual with strong Architecture experience, who can envision the overall strategy and guide teams towards its realization through hands-on involvement. The ideal candidate should have a background in Solution Architecture, recent experience in roadmap and strategy development, and be versatile in transitioning between the two for optimal results.


Purpose:

The ART Forward Architect articulates and shares a cohesive technical vision for solutions within an Agile Release Train (ART). By working closely with teams, they elaborate on system architecture, validate technology assumptions, assess implementation options, and establish the Continuous Delivery Pipeline to ensure that the developed system aligns effectively with its intended purpose.


Responsibilities:

  • Agile Release Train Leadership:
    • Collaborate with Product Management and the Release Train Engineer to drive the design and implementation of Agile Release Trains, providing guidance on structure, processes, and ceremonies.
    • Define strategic architectural runway in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment of ART strategy and roadmap with organizational objectives.
  • Architectural Design:
    • Design and maintain the overall architecture of the Agile Release Train in coordination with respective development teams, considering scalability, flexibility, and integration points.
    • Offer technical leadership and expertise to ensure the architecture supports Agile principles and practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Promote collaboration among development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to facilitate efficient delivery of business value.
    • Partner closely with cross-functional teams within ART and beyond to establish a simplified yet connected system landscape supporting [Firm's] growth ambitions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives within the Agile Release Train, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency.
    • Drive the adoption of Agile best practices to ensure teams are constantly learning and evolving.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Agile Release Train, offering proactive solutions to potential challenges.
    • Work closely with teams to address impediments and facilitate timely issue resolution.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Agile methodologies to enhance organizational practices.
    • Guide development teams on designing systems' integration and data sharing within and outside China borders.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and practical experience implementing them in large-scale organizations.
  • Strong grasp of software architecture, development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in SAP Deal to Settlement process.
  • Experience in Salesforce-centric architectural design with Salesforce Lightnings and other Salesforce products.
  • Experience with integration tools and designing integration scenarios or patterns.
  • Familiarity with Document Management Solutions, Data Architecture Solutions, AI/ML.
  • Human-centered design or design thinking experience is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with various Architects like Salesforce Solution/Technical Architects, Data and Integration Architects, and Enterprise Architects.
