What's the role?The Market Specialists consist of individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and experience from the buy-side, sell-side, as well as market and industry participants.The core responsibility of the team is to enhance user experience, drive sales revenue, improve sales force knowledge, and provide client feedback for product development.The team also showcases market expertise through writing for publications and speaking at events.
We'll trust you to:
  • Utilize your market experience, industry trends knowledge, and technical skills to generate revenue for our Terminal business, Data products, and Enterprise solutions
  • Advise clients on challenges and how to leverage our products to address them
  • Understand the competitor landscape and its impact on customers
  • Influence Bloomberg product direction through thought leadership and relationship building
  • Develop initiatives aligned with Product, Sales, and Company goals
  • Participate in new projects driving departmental and firmwide goals
  • Find ways to make an impact through mentoring, training, campaigns, and product enhancement

You'll need to have:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Accounting, Investor Relations, or Corporate Strategy within Materials or Mining sectors
  • Client-facing experience with senior level clients in Materials or Mining industries within the last 5 years
  • Financial Modelling and Valuation expertise
  • Passion for equity markets and industry KPIs
  • Understanding of buyside, sellside, or corporates workflows
  • Business insight to impact commercial success
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas concisely
  • Proactive collaboration skills
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or similar financial products
  • Willingness to travel across Asia as needed
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated career growth
