  • Shadowing the existing talent team as they conduct initial interviews to gather information and answer questions about Symmetry. Eventually, you will be expected to do this on your own. This will involve understanding and communicating some of the nuances of how we work, our history, and being able to answer questions more generally about the hedge fund and finance industries. Learn to pick up on subtle cues and identify and document red flags in initial meetings
  • Assisting the talent team in coordinating hiring processes between hiring managers, recruiters and the talent team, ensuring that the agreed upon processes are followed, and managing the administration around setting up new hiring processes, running them to completion and closing them down
  • Learning to use our systems and helping hiring managers and external recruiters navigate our systems and interview process
  • Managing relationships with vendors and external recruiters
  • Staying on top of talent processes and ensuring management is kept up to date on activities in talent
What to Expect from our Interview Process

  • A meeting with a member of the team for an open discussion on your background, experiences and how you may fit into the team.
  • Iteration from there, based on the feedback from the interviews and any further interviews to try to figure out where you'd best fit within Symmetry and what role we can create for you.
