JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing day-to-day services for the Concierge and Bell operations. Ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort, as well as upkeep of the desk area. The Concierge must ensure all Bell associates work ethically and with integrity, aligning with Hotel's standards and Brand Standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and control activities of the Bellman and Doorman.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of Marriott and Singapore's flag; report any abnormalities to FOM/AFOM/DM.
  • Perform daily Concierge and Bell Service duties, including:
    • Welcoming and greeting guests warmly,
    • Providing local attraction information to guests,
    • Assisting with restaurant and attraction reservations,
    • Informing guests about hotel services and facilities,
    • Arranging ground transportation for guests,
    • Liaising with transport vendors if needed,
    • Escorting guests politely,
    • Handling package and luggage delivery for guests,
    • Maintaining luggage storage,
    • Reviewing daily movement logs,
    • Responding to emails and calls professionally,
    • Keeping updated on local events and sharing with guests.
  • Ensure all storage items are recorded and tagged.
  • Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
  • Submit monthly training calendar to FOM and conduct daily training for Bell associates.
  • Coordinate with Front Desk and At-Your-Service teams for guest needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at the Concierge Counter and lobby.
  • Handle equipment with care; polish trolleys nightly.
  • Understand hotel safety features and procedures.
  • Ensure Bell service associates provide friendly service.
  • Maintain service standards according to Hotel's Corporate Image, grooming standards, SOPs, and policies.
  • Handle cash and bank transactions according to procedures.
  • Follow LSOP guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete any other assigned duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GCE 'N' level qualification.
  • At least 1 year experience in Senior Bellman/Bellman role.
  • General knowledge of Singapore city.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Availability to start work on short notice.
