Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Agent to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the sampan boat in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workstation, including equipment and working tools, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Work closely with other team members to review and suggest optimal operations for the Sampan, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.
  • Be conversant with all facets of sampan operations, including fire safety and emergency procedures, to ensure that our guests are safe and secure.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the sampan, ensuring that it is always presentable and free of litter.
  • Attend to guest requests and forward them to the relevant department if necessary, ensuring that our guests receive prompt and efficient service.
  • Monitor activities in the sampan area and report any suspicious characters, items, or activities to the Security Department.
  • Adhere to departmental and organizational benchmarking standards, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.
  • Attend training sessions and departmental meetings as scheduled, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest procedures and protocols.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O Level.
  • Certificate in Hospitality Operations from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Candidates must have a good command of spoken and written English.
  • Pays attention to details and has strong customer service skills.
  • A team player who is organized and able to work independently.
  • Can motivate fellow team members to achieve shift targets.
  • Well-groomed and professional disposition.
  • Good physical health.
