Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the hub facility, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of orders, as well as managing inventory and supplies. Ensure that all orders are delivered on time and maintain a 0% defect rate across all orders.
  • Lead the team responsible for packing, dispatching & delivering orders. Manage morale, motivation levels, wellbeing, and enforce discipline among the team.
  • Hire, onboard, and train the 3 roles within the team (packers, dispatchers, coordinators).
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for hub operations.
  • Work closely with other departments, including customer service, sales, and marketing, to ensure that customer needs are being met and that the company is meeting its business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as delivery times, order accuracy, and customer feedback, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in food services, logistics, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of employees.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, as well as experience with dispatch software and other relevant technology.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
