Roles and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Phase Separation Process & Proposal Engineer to join our team based in Singapore. In this role, you will be focusing on projects in North Asia, South-East Asia, and Oceania, with occasional involvement in projects in the Middle East.


As a member of the Process Group, you will be responsible for handling new and retrofit phase separation projects, specifically in mist elimination and liquid-liquid separation.

You will work closely with the Product Leader in Singapore and collaborate with the Sales Area Managers to develop technical and commercial solutions tailored to meet customer requirements.


The proposal process includes various steps such as evaluating processes, selecting suitable products based on hydraulic calculations, estimating costs, conducting mechanical evaluations, preparing and submitting quotations, revising as needed, and providing technical clarifications until finalizing the order.

Post-order placement, you may need to engage with the detailed engineering team for further coordination. Your role will also involve customer interactions, technical meetings, and contributing to business development efforts alongside Sales Area Managers.

Office Responsibilities:

  • Review customer requisitions and specifications.
  • Pre-design equipment and perform hydraulic calculations.
  • Estimate costs and develop quotations.
  • Engage in technical clarifications and negotiations with customers.
  • Update and revise quotations as required.

Customer-Focused Tasks:

  • Attend customer meetings in the APAC region to discuss project details.
  • Support Sales Area Managers in expanding the market share of phase separation equipment through presentations and participation in trade shows.

Preferred Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Hold a university degree in a relevant field, with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Previous exposure to Phase Separation Technology equipment.
  • Possess innovative thinking for retrofit projects.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities for a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrate maturity, pragmatism, self-sufficiency, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region (up to 25%).
  • Familiarity with basic CAD modeling tools.
  • Customer-centric mindset and relationship-building skills.

Additional Assets:

  • Experience in similar roles within EPCs or equipment suppliers.
  • Proficiency in cost definition.
  • Background in industries like Oil & Gas, Mining, Pharmaceutical, etc.
  • Knowledge of process simulation tools and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
