About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
Business Banking
We develop integrated products and services targeted at helping small and medium-sized enterprises across the region progress through different stages of growth. These include innovative solutions and initiatives in areas of working capital loans, operational efficiency and currency exposure.
Job Responsibilities
Process Online Account Opening (OAO) documentation in accordance to Bank's guidelines and SLA agreement to ensure effective and efficient onboarding of corporate accounts.
Contact potential clients to invite them to open account online with UOB and guide client through the online account opening platform After client successfully completed the account application online, to process the application received via the Bank's online system Perform documentation checks to ensure completeness and in compliance with bank's corporate account onboarding requirements; including name screening and research on google Follow up with applicant (if necessary) to validate information submitted Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (touchpoints) relating to customer's application that come from other funnels Process applications for Manager's approval Facilitate opening of account and setting up of ancillary services with the processing unit Perform data maintenance and reporting Other duties as assigned by line managerJob Requirements
Enthusiastic personnel Comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts. Ability to learn about products and services and describe/ explain them to prospects Good knowledge of English/Mandarin in both written and communication skills Possess customer centric mindset Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel and Word-
