As the Retail Performance Senior Manager, you support the development of the Performance culture in the retail network, supporting the markets in enhancing their performance on a daily basis.

You design and implement management tools & KPIs to measure and optimize the performance of the stores.

Job Description:


Your role is to understand what KPIs, figures and variables impact the performance of the sales team and use this information to drive change and steer action plans.

You will work with stakeholders across many teams and different projects, impacting decisions and generating workstreams in one of the fastest growing teams.

You'll contribute to projects and initiatives that are at the heart of retail's growth strategy with leadership visibility.

In this sense, your responsibilities will include:

  • Expert in the hub/market of all the tools & processes that are related to performance management (NPS, RED, Luce, RetailNow, Target Setting Tool, MTT, any potential contest) and make sure that all the business layers of the area (TM, SM, RAM, GM) are fully familiar with it, so they can drive the performance.
  • Point of reference for the performance onboarding of all key managerial retail counterparts
  • RAM, SM, TM.
  • Collect, as a first level of review, all the initiatives reaching the store and impacting CAs and management activities, in order to ensure a sustainable scheduling and impactful cascading (retail control tower process for the communication)
  • First point of contact about retail topics for local corporate teams (HR, client engagement, training, merchandising, VM, Gucci 9)
  • Responsible for a first draft of commercial targets for the store network, to be validated by business leaders (GM)
  • Provide regular indepth analysis of outliers (over/underperforming stores) and work with the Local Retail for action plans to improve the performance
  • Acts as project manager for key retail initiatives (RED, NPS, contests, training refresh, focus on specific indicators ) and collaborates with the local team in ensuring rollout effectiveness
  • Scouting, designing and delivering activities to increase different KPIs in collaboration with the Regional Performance Team

Requirements:

Functional

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Previous experience in Retail (or solid proven understanding of Retail practices and processes)
  • Previous instore experience would be a plus
  • Solid leaderships skills and enthusiastic approach to change
  • Strong numerical skills and comprehension of Retail KPIs, including the ability to collect, analyze and present data
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial approach to work
  • Microsoft Office pack (Excel and Power Point competencies are needed)
  • Excellent project management competences
