About the Unit:


Yara Africa & Asia (YAA) produces, sells, distributes and markets fertilizers and industrial products across Asia Pacific and Africa regions, with offices location and operational units in 20 countries.

The region employs over 1800 employees and has a long history in the Asian Pacific and African markets, focusing on develop crop nutrition concepts that increase food production and create value to the growers, in particular smallholder farmers, whilst minimizing environmental impact of agricultural activities.

YAA is currently undergoing a major transformation, aimed at shifting the existing business models, generating new revenue streams and ultimately delivering profit through new sustainable farming solutions related activities.

A disruptive growth agenda has been put in place to accelerate digital adoption, partnerships and improve sustainability and farmer's livelihoods in the Region.


The role will report to the Senior Manager, Culture, Change & DEI, Yara Africa & Asia and collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders across the region.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Culture, Change & DEI to develop feasible plans and lead implementation of organization development initiatives and interventions to successfully achieve YAA's 2025 vision and business goals.
  • Partner with crossfunctional key stakeholders to plan, design, implement and review organization development initiatives and interventions to implement changes at various levels in the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization development initiatives and interventions by collecting feedback from crossfunctional key stakeholders, measuring the impact on business outcomes and propose ideas on continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data collected (e.g., Yara annual climate survey, Peakon), interpret the findings and present insights that provide meaningful feedback to crossfunctional key stakeholders for decisionmaking and action at various levels of the organization.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Culture, Change & DEI to drive communications across the region for visibility and best practice, success story sharing.
  • Develop playbook and asset repositories for scaling the best practices and impact in the future organization development initiatives and interventions.
  • Coordinate internal activities and initiatives for increasing awareness and understanding in DEI.
  • Participate in the global and regional people strategic initiatives as needed.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development or organizational psychology or related fields such as behavioral science, psychology or sociology.
  • Minimum 79 years of experience in change management and project management or similar role experience in driving organizational transformation and culture change.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (eg. Prosci certification).
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong competence in English language is a must.
  • Established track record in implementing organization development initiatives and interventions (e.g., employee engagement, change management, organizational culture change).
  • Passion to help individuals and teams to change their mindsets and behaviours and adapt new ways of working.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, teamoriented, global matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actions and feasible implementation plans.
  • Strong skills for problem solving and root cause identification.
  • Experience working with global teams across hierarchy and functions will be advantageous.
  • Experience and knowledge of coaching leaders (eg. ICF coaching certification) will be advantageous.
