About this opportunity

We are looking to fill an exciting role as a Business Development Manager within our growing Prestige Business (Distributor Market) division. In this dynamic setting, you will collaborate with regional distributors to propel our prominent Prestige Beauty portfolio in the markets of India and Indonesia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Achieve business and sales targets by efficiently managing regional distributors and crafting strategic annual plans and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to gain insights, conduct analysis, and spot business prospects.
  • Lead discussions on Joint Business Planning (JBP), optimize the product portfolio, and devise pricing strategies tailored to diverse markets.
  • Attain regional sales objectives through effective account planning, meticulous forecasting, budget oversight, and successful execution of Go-To-Market initiatives (such as new product launches, marketing campaigns, and retail projects).
  • Foster strong partnerships with distributor associates, aiding in expanding market presence in new territories, consumer segments, and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Manage pricing, sales operations, order processing, and registration procedures in collaboration with Demand Planning, Customer Service, Legal, and CMI teams, acting as a bridge between distributors and internal departments.
  • Ensure prompt submission of sales reports, market insights, local marketing strategies, and marketing expenditure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent field.
  • Commercial proficiency, preferably with a background in FMCG, Beauty, or Luxury sectors.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar commercial role involving account management, distributor relations, and brand management.
  • Familiarity with the SEA and APAC regions is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, hands-on approach, and adept at stimulating growth dialogues.
  • Strong persuasive skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
