Direct Search Global is working with a marine & offshore service supplier to fill a role of Customer Service Executive to be based in their Singapore office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage clients' tenders, quotations, enquiries, and orders.
  • Provide positive customer service to engage with them in end to end customer service process.
  • Ensure all tenders and quotations are submitted according to the customer's deadline. All orders to be prepared based on customer specification.
  • Complete Request For Quote via SAP best pricing and ensure completion of quote as per customer request.
  • Raise all customer feedback to Team Leader and ensure that it is logged in the (CIL) Continuous Improvement Log.
  • Prepare quotes and submit to Team Leader for approval.
  • Ensure any change in customer requirement are updated in a timely manner before submission of quote for approval.
  • Follow up with customer on quotations in a timely manner.
  • Process customer Purchase Order in SAP
  • Identify order building and development opportunities through telephone sales expertise.
  • Coordinate with Procurement team for inventory purchase whenever possible.
  • Issue orders to Procurement or Operations team based on customer's requirement and Purchase Order.
  • Follow up with customer and assist to issue invoice if needed.
  • Assist in adhoc assignments.
  • Practice 5S standard, always maintain and ensure workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Work together with the team and be accountable to the KPIs eg. achieve top line growth, drive profitable business, increase win rate, reduce MISC sales

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent with preferably 3 years of Customer Service working experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels.
  • Customer centric approach
  • Have a WIN mentality
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Able to meet deadlines through proper time management and allocation of priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal understanding with an awareness of diversity within the customer base, team, and organization.
  • To engage in a friendly and professional manner with clients, customers, and internal stake holders.
  • Willing to learn
  • Being selfinitiative and proactive
  • Customer Service or Sales line working experience is a plus.
  • Experience in handling vessel supply would be an added advantage.
