Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) is Singapore's national association for company directors. Formed in 1998, its mission is to uplift the directorship profession and champion good governance. Its membership comprises board directors, company leaders, and professionals with an interest in corporate governance.

A Governing Council guides the direction and work of the organisation, and SID Committees comprise industry professionals, academics and corporate governance experts.


The Accreditation & Professional Development team, which you will be a part of, oversees the development of accreditation frameworks and tools, as well as new programmes and courses to support the strengthening of SID's positioning in the market as a thought leader for all things directorship and/or governance, and a standard bearer for good governance.

As part of your role, you will report to and work with the Vice President, Accreditation & Professional Development.

Your role will also include working with SID's Accreditation & Professional Development Committee, the SID Executive Team, eco-system partners, and any other relevant committees or working groups as assigned by the CEO.

Please note that this is a 2 year contract position.

Key Responsibilities
You will support the Vice President, Accreditation & Professional Development primarily in the following areas:

Custom Programmes and Faculty Engagement

  • Develop business growth plans to boost custom PD revenue and/or expand SID's client base.
  • Convert inbound leads to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct research and analyse data to identify relevant needs of organisations, institutional investors in relation to director training for unlisted companies, earlystage companies and family own businesses.
  • Manage multiple concurrent programmes, ensure clear project planning and commitment by faculty partners, and continuous improvement in achieving optimal programme satisfaction.
  • Work with SID Faculty and Knowledge Partners to create new custom programmes and corporate training products.
  • Build strong working relationships with existing SID faculty / knowledge partners / corporate academies to develop and deliver custom programmes / corporate training.
  • Create compelling programme proposals and collaterals for engagement with corporates and potential clients.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for conduct of training where required.
  • Support the A&PD team in other secretariat, budgeting and planning work. Any adhoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in business development or corporate education sales.
  • Familiarity with executive education and/or corporate academies will be advantageous. Possesses competencies in the areas of project management, and programme development.
