Position: Programme Director at The Energy Research Institute @ NTU


The Energy Research Institute at NTU is seeking a Programme Director to lead an Interdisciplinary Research Programme focused on Battery Solutions for a future hydrogen economy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research and development of innovative hydrogen solutions.
  • Identify strategic R&D focus and lead technology assessments.
  • Facilitate research joint development agreements with industry and university partners.
  • Ensure projects meet scientific/technical targets as a Project Principal Investigator.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to research groups and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Advise on grant proposals, intellectual property filings, and research publication.

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Master's Degree in Engineering or Sciences preferred.
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience with a strong research track record.
  • Demonstrated leadership in energy research with strong publications.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Industrial experience in research or technical leadership preferred.
  • Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams.
